Sarah Albers MD, MPH, FACEP, CWSP has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Sarah is the Owner/CEO of Aviation Medical Exams since January 2023. Previously, they served as the Medical Director of Wound Healing Services, Chair of the Emergency Preparedness Committee, and Chair of the Pharmacy and Therapeutic Committee at Marlette Regional Hospital from 2014 to present. Additionally, they have been an Attending Physician in Emergency Medicine at Marlette Regional Hospital since September 2014. Sarah also has teaching experience as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Central Michigan University since February 2015. Prior to that, they worked as an Attending Physician in Emergency Medicine at Medical Center Emergency Services from July 2012 to March 2015. Sarah also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine during the same period.

Sarah Albers MD, MPH, FACEP, CWSP completed their education in a sequential manner, starting with their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biological Psychology and the Cognitive Sciences from the University of Michigan in 2001. In 2003, they pursued a Masters of Public Health degree in Human Nutrition from the same university.

Further building on their education, Sarah enrolled at Wayne State University in 2009 and completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Sarah simultaneously joined the Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center's Emergency Medicine Residency Program to gain clinical experience and specialized training in Emergency Medicine.

In terms of certifications, Sarah obtained their Emergency Medicine certification from the American Board of Emergency Medicine in December 2013. Later, in July 2020, they became a Certified Wound Specialist Physician (CWSP) certified by the American Board of Wound Management. Most recently, in March 2023, they completed the Elevate Leadership Program offered by the American Medical Women's Association (AMWA).
