Marisela Felix

Marisela Felix serves as the Executive Director of Communications at Sunnyside Unified School District since July 2019, where leadership has been instrumental in shaping the district’s brand identity and enhancing community trust through effective public relations. Prior to this role, Marisela held the position of Director of Public Information, managing internal and external communications to advance the district’s reputation. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Development and Marketing at YWCA Southern Arizona, an Account Executive at Arizona Lotus Corporation, and various graphic design roles, culminating in a strong foundation in marketing and communications. Marisela holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications from Northern Arizona University and completed further education at the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management.
