Tasha Dean

Tasha Dean's work experience includes serving as the Chief Teaching & Learning Officer at Sunnyvale School District starting from June 2022. Prior to this role, they were the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services from July 2017 to June 2022 at the same district. From August 2012 to June 2017, they held the position of Director of Special Education and Student Services at Sunnyvale School District. Before joining Sunnyvale School District, Tasha Dean was the CEO of New Dimensions starting from June 2002. Tasha also worked as the Coordinator of Special Services at New Haven Unified School District from July 2008 to August 2012.

Tasha Dean holds a Bachelor's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling/Counselor from Stephen F. Austin State University. Tasha later pursued a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from California State University, Los Angeles. Tasha's education journey continued with a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Pepperdine University.
