Matthew Johnson

Matthew Johnson has a diverse work experience in the finance field. Matthew currently holds the role of Director of Finance at SunOpta, where they have been working since November 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Finance Manager and a Finance Manager at the same company. Before joining SunOpta, Matthew worked at Altasciences as a Senior Proposal Manager and Controller. Matthew also gained experience as a Senior Accountant at Novum Pharmaceutical Research Services and as an Independent Financial Contractor at CDG Group. Matthew began their career at PRACS Institute, where they held the roles of Associate Director - Financial Planning & Analysis and Financial Analyst. Matthew started their professional journey as a Student Auditor at the University of North Dakota.

Matthew Johnson graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2009 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree, specializing in Investments/Accounting.
