Robert van Barneveld

Robert van Barneveld serves as the Group CEO and Managing Director of SunPork Group, the largest fully integrated pork production company in Australasia. Robert holds extensive leadership roles, including Chairman of Autism CRC and former Chairman of Autism Queensland Limited, contributing significantly to the field of autism services. As a Director of the Australasian Pork Research Institute Ltd, Robert promotes sustainable practices in the pork industry through research and development. Additionally, Robert has held academic positions as an Adjunct Professor at both The University of Queensland and the University of New England. Robert's previous experience includes roles at Ridley Corporation Ltd and as a Director and Consultant Research Scientist at Barneveld Nutrition Pty Ltd, and as a founding partner of BECAN Consulting Group. Robert van Barneveld earned a Ph.D. and a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from The University of Queensland and completed a graduate diploma in Company Directorship at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
