Jim Turner

Jim Turner is an experienced Previs Artist currently working at Sunrise Animation Studios since February 2024. Previously, Jim held the same role at Skydance Animation, where contributions included the creation of three seasons of the animated series “Wondla.” Jim’s career also includes roles at Paramount Animation, Netflix, and Disney Television Animation, where Jim served as a Cinematographer. Additional experience includes working as a Stage Operator at Lightstorm Entertainment and serving as a Previs Supervisor at Sunrise Productions. Notably, Jim collaborated with industry professionals such as Director James Mangold and Previs Supervisor Clint Reagan on the films "Logan" and "Ghostbusters" during stints at Halon Entertainment. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Character Animation from Southern Adventist University, earned between 1999 and 2009.
