Michael Hsia 夏宇廣 is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in trading and market management, currently serving as Co Head of Asian Equities at Sunrise Brokers LLP since 2013. Michael established an Ideas Trading platform and developed a client base for trading Japanese, Hong Kong, and Chinese equities. Previous roles include Sales Trader at Louis Capital Markets, where Michael created a trading ideas platform for short-term investments across Asian markets, and Trader at Deutsche Bank, focusing on relative value opportunities in Asian equities. Michael also held the position of Trading Manager at Instinet Pacific Services Limited, building an outsourced trading desk for clients in Asia. Additional experience includes serving as Head of Trading at Gandhara Capital and Head of Market Risk Management - Equities at Deutsche Bank. Michael holds a degree in Cybernetics and Control Engineering with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from the University of Reading, awarded between 1988 and 1991.
