Jase Vanover

Jase Vanover has extensive work experience in finance and management. Jase started their career at Lafarge North America in 2001, where they served as Director of Finance until 2006. Jase then moved on to become the Vice President of Financial Services at Lafarge before transitioning to Vice President of Special Projects for a short period. In 2009, they were promoted to General Manager of Foothills Ready Mix Inc., where they had profit and loss responsibility for Lafarge's concrete and construction services in the Greater Calgary Area.

In 2012, they joined VOLKER STEVIN Canada Ltd. as the Chief Financial Officer, a role they held for over 10 years. Currently, they are the Chief Financial Officer at SUNRISE FARMS, starting in 2023.

Jase Vanover has a diverse education history. Jase obtained an MBA degree from The Wharton School from 2002 to 2004. In 2016 and 2017, they attended the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, where they completed the Institute of Corporate Directors - Directors Education Program, known as ICD.D. Additionally, in 2014, Jase participated in the Leadership for Senior Executives program at Harvard Business School Executive Education. Earlier in their academic journey, from 1988 to 1993, they pursued a BComm degree in Accounting at the University of Calgary. Following this, Jase acquired the CPA, CMA certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) during the years 1993 to 1995. Furthermore, they have recently obtained a certification in Oxford Cyber Security for Business Leaders from the University of Oxford in 2022.
