Megan Nguyen

Megan Nguyen is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in environmental advocacy and community engagement. Currently serving as the Community Events Manager at the Peninsula Open Space Trust since April 2022, Megan also holds the position of Bay Area Hub Coordinator and Climate Organizer with the Sunrise Movement, a youth-led initiative aimed at addressing climate change. Previous roles include Communications Coordinator for the California Green New Deal Coalition and Communications Associate at California Trout, where marketing and outreach were emphasized. Additionally, Megan has contributed as a Social Media Consultant for the San Francisco Estuary Partnership and has held leadership roles at the United Nations Association of the United States of America. With a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning from the University of California, Davis, Megan combines communication skills with a strong commitment to social and environmental justice.
