Damien O'Riordan

Damien O'Riordan has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on executive leadership and operations management. Damien is currently the Vice President of Operations for Independent Living at Sunrise Senior Living, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Montage International from March 2023 to August 2023. From July 2021 to March 2023, Damien served as the Executive Vice President of Operations at Encore Boston Harbor.

Before that, they held various leadership positions at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C., including General Manager from October 2013 to July 2021 and from October 2011 to October 2013. Damien'sresponsibilities included strategic planning, leading large hotel teams, achieving financial goals, and maintaining brand standards. During their tenure, they successfully completed a multi-million-dollar renovation project and led the conversion of a property to an Autograph Collection hotel, earning recognition for improved market share in the European region.

Damien also served as the General Manager at the g Hotel & Spa from June 2008 to October 2011 and as the Deputy General Manager at Adare Manor from December 2004 to May 2008. Damien began their career at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. in 1996, where they held positions such as Food & Beverage Director, Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, Maitre d', Assistant Director of Banquets, and Dining Services Manager.

Damien O'Riordan attended Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology from 1993 to 1996, where they pursued a Diploma in Hospitality Management.
