Herman Marquez

Herman Marquez has extensive work experience in the senior living industry. Herman started their career at Lawry's Restaurants Inc. in 1986 as a Restaurant Manager. Herman then worked as a Food & Beverage Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. from 1991 to 1994. From 1998 to 2000, they held various management positions at Marriott Hotels, Sheraton Palo Alto, and Hilton San Francisco Union Square. In 2000, they joined Le Boulanger, Inc as a Corporate Trainer and worked there until 2005. From 2005 to 2011, they served as the Director of Dining Services at Brookdale Senior Living. Herman then moved on to become the Executive Director at American Senior Living from 2011 to 2012. Finally, they joined Sunrise Senior Living where they held the positions of Executive Director from 2012 to 2015, Senior Executive Director from 2015 to 2016, and is currently serving as the Regional Director of Operations.

Herman Marquez attended Pasadena City College but did not obtain a degree. Herman later graduated from South Pasadena High School in 1985 with a General Education degree.
