Lisa C. Oursler

Lisa C. Oursler has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Lisa C. began their career in 1988 as a Social worker, Supervisor, and Trainer for the State of Delaware, Division of Family Services. From 1997 to 2001, they served as a Program Manager and Interim Executive Director at Claymont Community Center. Lisa C. then worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Wilmington College and Delaware Technical & Community College from 1999 to 2004. In 2001, they became the Executive Director - Delaware Region at the National Conference for Community and Justice, a position they held until 2005. Following this, they served as the President & CEO - New Jersey Chapter at the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc. for a year. In 2006, they joined Sunrise Senior Living as the Executive Director and later moved up to become the Senior Director of Operations and Regional Director of Operations. Additionally, in 2009, Lisa briefly worked as an Adjunct Faculty at the Community College of Baltimore County.

Lisa C. Oursler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science & Sociology from the University of Delaware, which they obtained in 1987. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at St. Paul's School for Girls in 1983. In 1993, Lisa earned a Master of Social Work degree from Temple University. Recently, they furthered their education by completing a Master of Public Management degree at the University of Maryland in 2014, specializing in Policy and Leadership.
