Aaron Medina

Aaron comes to Sunrise with over 25 years of executive leadership experience in the travel, transportation, and automotive software industries. He spent 27 years with The Hertz Corporation in successive positions of leadership, including over 15 years based in Tokyo, Japan, culminating in being Division Vice President, U.S.Western Region Operations, responsible for a business unit of over 3000 employees and generating over $1 billion in revenue.

Just prior to arriving at Sunrise, Aaron was responsible for three independent subsidiaries of CDK Global LLC, the leader in business management software for the automotive, recreational vehicle, and heavy equipment industries, where he was responsible for leading the strategic organizational transformation of these subsidiaries.

Aaron studied Japanese culture, language, and international politics at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan, subsequently graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. He and his wife are the proud empty-nesters of two grown children and enjoy hiking, camping, and over landing adventures.
