Mariya-Andoniya Andonova

Mariya-Andoniya Andonova is an experienced double bassist who has played with various orchestras and music festivals. Currently, Mariya-Andoniya is a Double Bass Teacher at Portland Youth Philharmonic and Sunriver Music Festival, and a Section Bassist at Oregon Symphony. Previous roles include being a part of Musicians for the World Inc, The Orchestra Now, Crested Butte Music Festival, and more. Mariya-Andoniya holds a Master's degree in Double Bass Performance from Yale School of Music, and has also completed other music performance degrees from Colburn School and Colburn Conservatory.
