Ben Doherty has had a successful career in the tech industry. In 2018, they became the Co-Founder & CEO of Sunroom Rentals, an end-to-end platform for leasing that makes renting as easy as booking a hotel. Prior to that, in 2017 they were an Angel Investor, writing small checks in companies & funds run by founders with visions they believed in. From 2011 to 2017, they were Co-Founder & Board Member, Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer, and Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer at Favor, where they helped recruit & hire the new CEO and focused on perfecting the service and rapidly expanding Favor to many cities.
Ben Doherty obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo between 2007 and 2012. Ben also holds a Texas Real Estate Salesperson certification, obtained in December 2017, as well as real estate licenses for Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, and South Carolina.
