Becca Smedley

Becca Smedley, CPA, has over a decade of experience in accounting, currently serving as a Senior Accounting Manager at Sunrun since August 2014, progressing through roles such as Fund Accounting Manager and Senior Fund Accountant. Prior to this, Becca worked at Deloitte from September 2011 to August 2014 as an Audit Senior, where responsibilities included conducting financial statement audits, managing audit processes, and leading a public company audit team. Becca began their career in academia as a Teaching Assistant and Head Grader at the UCSB Accounting Program, where skills in communication and leadership were developed. Becca earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from UC Santa Barbara in 2011.
