Mitch Carr

Mitch Carr has extensive work experience in the field of operations, facilities, and recreation. From 2013 to the present, they have held various roles at the Park District of Highland Park, including Deputy Director of Operations and Facilities, Director of Recreation and Facilities, Assistant Director, and General Manager of the Recreation Center. Prior to that, they worked at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago from 1999 to 2013, where they held positions such as Director of Compensation, Benefits and HR Compliance, Associate Director of Development, Director of Fitness Sports and Recreation, Director of Fitness Services, and Manager of Fitness Services.

Mitch Carr attended Heidelberg University from 1993 to 1997, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in the Sports Medicine Residency Program. Mitch later enrolled in The University of Akron from 1997 to 1998, obtaining a Master of Science (M.S.) in Education.
