Rebecca van Poucke

Rebecca Van Poucke is an experienced educator and dance coordinator with a strong background in both dance instruction and family and consumer sciences. Currently serving as the Dance Coordinator at the Park District of Highland Park since May 2022, Rebecca is responsible for overseeing dance programs, developing curriculum, and organizing performances. Prior roles include Dance Instructor at Wilmette Park District, where Rebecca led dance teams and instructed students aged 3-14 in various dance styles, and Youth Dance Instructor at Northbrook Park District, focusing on age-appropriate dance curriculum. Additionally, Rebecca has significant experience as a Family and Consumer Science Teacher, having developed and taught diverse curriculums for over a decade. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in School Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Family Social Services from Northern Illinois University.
