Ashley Matias

Ashley Matias has extensive experience in patient care advocacy and case management, currently serving as a Patient Care Advocate-FL QI and Senior LTC Case Manager at Sunshine Health since October 2018. Ashley also owns a vegan soy wax candle business, Two Daughters Candles, which started in March 2021. In addition to advocating for patients, Ashley has worked as a plus-size model and photographer with MUAJasmine and Pharaoun Cocktail Rings. Prior roles include Senior LTC Case Manager at Humana and Medicaid Long Term Care Specialist at Area Agency on Aging, focusing on assessments and care coordination for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Ashley’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Human Services from Purdue Global and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Kaplan University, complemented by a Gerontology certificate from the University of Southern California.
