Hemanth Sunkara

Hemanth Sunkara is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering leadership and software development. Currently serving as Co-CTO at Sunshine since August 2018, Hemanth has held roles such as Engineering Lead for Algo and ML Inference and was a Founding Engineer. Prior experience includes a position as Principal Software Engineer at Yahoo! from November 2011 to August 2018, where responsibilities involved search, assistance, and machine learning, as well as serving as a Technical Lead focused on stream processing and anomaly detection. Hemanth began a career at OnMobile as a Senior Software Engineer specializing in user profiling, targeting, and personalization, and started at Sasken as a Software Engineer. Hemanth earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Andhra University.
