Richard Olivas

Richard Olivas is an experienced security professional with a diverse background in operational security and management. Currently serving as a Security Operations Center Analyst at Sunstates Security since April 2020, Richard is responsible for addressing security issues and incidents, utilizing various technical systems to manage critical incidents effectively. Previously, Richard held the position of North East Area Supervisor at Security Enforcement Bureau, overseeing hiring processes and conducting audits at JFK International Airport. Prior roles include Operations Manager at Apollo International, where financial analysis of security practices was managed, and a Corrections Officer with the State of Connecticut Department of Correction. Richard also served in the United States Marine Corps as a Sergeant E-5. Richard holds an Associate of Science degree in Psychology from Ashworth College.
