Mike Barnes

Mike Barnes has a strong background in business development and project management. Mike has served as the Chief Operating Officer for both RER Energy Group and Sunvestment Energy Group since 2017. Prior to that, they held the position of President at Cedar Valley Energy from 2013 onwards. From 2005 to 2012, they were the President of Cumberland Valley Corporation. Before that, they served as the President of B&B CommNet, Inc - Spectron, Inc. from 1993 to 2005, and as the President of Spectron, Inc. from 1985 to 1993.

Mike Barnes earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Technologies from HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, which they completed in 2008. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business from Eastern University, which they obtained in 2009. Mike also holds several additional certifications, including being a Master Electrician in IA, FL, and PA, which they obtained in 2015, 2010, and 1991, respectively. In 2012, they became an NABCEP Level Instructor through the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners.
