Dba Jamuna Jairaman

Jamuna Jairaman has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in laboratory management and medical laboratory science. Jamuna started their career in 2001 as a Medical Laboratory Scientist 1, where they monitored quality control, managed inventory, and ensured adherence to policies and procedures. Jamuna then progressed to roles such as Medical Laboratory Scientist 2 cum Quality Assurance Officer, where they maintained high standards of quality in testing processes, and Assistant Laboratory Manager, where they supervised and coordinated activities of medical laboratory technologists. From 2010 to 2014, they served as the Laboratory Manager, overseeing operating costs, establishing laboratory policies and procedures, and ensuring regulatory compliance. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as the Senior Manager, Allied Health Support, before taking on their current role as Assistant Director, Allied Health Services at Sunway Medical Centre since July 2018. Throughout their career, Jamuna has consistently demonstrated a commitment to delivering reliable test results and maintaining high standards of safety and health within the laboratory.

Jamuna Jairaman, DBA began their education journey in 1997 at Universiti Putra Malaysia, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. Jamuna completed their undergraduate studies in 2000.

In 2002, Jamuna enrolled at the University of Malaya, where they pursued a Master's Degree in Medical Sciences with a specialization in Public Health. Jamuna successfully completed their master's studies in 2003.

Jamuna's pursuit of knowledge continued in 2014 when they enrolled at Asia e University to obtain their Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA). Their research and studies focused on Service Quality within the field of study. Jamuna completed their DBA in 2020.

In 2020, Jamuna further enhanced their education by attending Harvard Medical School, where they obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership in Medicine. Their time at Harvard provided their with valuable insights and knowledge in the field of medicine and leadership.
