Soraya Govers

Soraya Govers has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and positions. Soraya began their career as a Coordinator for the Vreemdelingendienst project at Politie Utrecht in 2002. In this role, they managed and coordinated the replacement of residence documents for foreign nationals in the region.

Afterward, Soraya worked as a Stagiaire inkomende touroperator at Wens in 2004, where they organized round trips in Europe for groups from North America.

Soraya then joined St. Antonius Hospital Nieuwegein in 2004 as a Medewerker Debiteuren Administratie. Their responsibilities included processing, verifying, and correcting invoices for patients and insurance companies.

In 2006, Soraya transitioned to Eliza was Here as Manager of Sales & Service. Soraya led and supervised the Sales & Service department, focusing on optimizing the service, product sales, and employee development. Establishing a strong customer relationship was a key aspect of their role.

Currently, Soraya is with Sunweb Group, where they began as a Teamlead Backoffice in 2013. In this position, they oversaw several departments within the backoffice, including Supply, Package, Content Support, and Product Coordination. Their responsibilities involved managing these intertwined functions.

In November 2020, Soraya was promoted to the role of Director of Operations at Sunweb Group. Additional information regarding the end dates for their current role was not provided.

Soraya Govers began their education in 1995 at HAVO, where they studied Profiel: Cultuur & Maatschappij until 2001. Soraya then enrolled at Breda University of Applied Sciences from 2001 to 2004 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Manager Travel Trade. In 2005, they attended the IATA / Ufta Foundation Course for a brief period. Later in 2005, Soraya returned to Breda University of Applied Sciences and completed another Bachelor's degree, this time in FBTR, from 2005 to 2006.
