Steven Avila has a diverse work experience. Steven started their career as an Assistant Manager at Robeks Juice - OC Juice 35, LLC in 2006 and worked there until 2008. Steven then joined the City of Huntington Beach as a Break Person/Parking Attendant from 2004 to 2007, and later as a Parking & Camping Assistant from 2007 to 2015. In 2014, Steven started their own business as a Real Estate Broker under the name Steven Avila Real Estate. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Fintech Partnerships Manager (Banking as a Service) at Sunwest Bank, a role they started in March 2022. Prior to this, they also held the positions of Vice President, Strategic Projects Manager, Assistant Vice President, and Associate at Sunwest Bank from 2016 to 2018.

Steven Avila graduated from Chapman University in 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Business Administration, with a focus on Finance & Real Estate. Prior to attending Chapman University, Steven Avila earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Business Administration from Orange Coast College in 2009.

Currently, Steven Avila is enrolled in two additional education programs. Steven is pursuing a Masters-level extension program in Banking at Pacific Coast Banking School from 2021 to 2023. Additionally, they are undergoing Executive Leadership Training at the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business within the same period.

In terms of certifications, Steven Avila has obtained several qualifications. Steven completed the "Python For Managers" course from Columbia Business School in 2021 through the institution Emeritus. Steven is also a Certified Health Savings Adviser (CHSA) certified by Access Point HSA in the same year. Lastly, in November 2014, they acquired a Real Estate Broker License from the Bureau Of Real Estate.
