Tyler Pearce

Tyler Pearce has a strong background in information technology and has held various roles throughout their career. Tyler is currently working as the VP - Manager of IT Operations at Sunwest Bank, where they are responsible for overseeing the Helpdesk, Desktop support, and Sys Admin teams, managing IT assets and purchasing, developing and implementing IT processes and procedures, and maintaining vendor relationships. Prior to this, they worked at Executech as an Information Technology Supervisor, where they managed a team of consultants and continued their Sys Admin role. Tyler also worked as a System Administrator at Executech, where they provided support and management to multiple clients, handling various software and hardware solutions. Before that, Tyler worked at the State of Utah as a System Administrator/Program Manager and an IT Project Manager, where they managed the state-wide ID Theft program, built and managed a website, facilitated ID Theft and Child Identity fraud resolution, and led multi-agency projects to identify audit risks and install firewalls. Additionally, they worked as a Technical Support Team Lead, where they created and maintained a knowledge base, monitored security threats, and provided support for over 3000 computers and network systems. Earlier in their career, Tyler worked at eBay as a Level 2 Desktop Support technician, at Zions Bancorporation as a Level 1 Service Desk technician, and at the Hinckley Institute of Politics as a Legislative Intern.

Tyler Pearce attended the University of Utah from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. Tyler also holds additional certifications in Executive Leadership from Cornell University, Sophos Certified Technician from Sophos, CS 235 - Basic Network Intrusion Investigations from the National White Collar Crime Center, Certified Public Manager from the Utah Department of Human Resource Management, A+ Certification from CompTia, and Acronis Certified Engineer - Cyber Cloud from Acronis.
