Karin Reinhold

Karin Reinhold is an Associate Professor at the University at Albany, SUNY, with a notable tenure starting in 1992. In addition to teaching, Karin serves as Chair of the University Policy & Planning Council, Chair of the University Senate, and Vice Chair of the Senate, while also holding the title of Chair of the Governance Council. As Director of Graduate Studies, Karin oversees the graduate program in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. Karin completed a PhD in Mathematics, specifically in Ergodic Theory, at The Ohio State University, where academic endeavors spanned from 1986 to 1991. Previous educational achievements include a Licenciada in Mathematics from the University of Buenos Aires and foundational studies at various institutions from 1976 to 1986. Prior to the current position, Karin worked as a Post Doctorate at the University of Toronto in 1991-1992.
