Michael Geroux

Michael Geroux serves as the Assistant Director of the Academic Support Center at the University at Albany, SUNY, where responsibilities include supervising advising staff and providing holistic academic advising to undergraduate students. With experience as an adjunct professor, Michael teaches first-year experience seminar courses and academic skills development seminars, focusing on supporting students' transition to college and fostering academic success. Prior roles include Coordinator for Field Placement and Advising and Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions at The College of Saint Rose. Michael Geroux holds a PhD in Higher Education Administration from the University at Albany, an MSED in Educational Psychology from The College of Saint Rose, and a BA in English from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
