Christi Sommerfeldt

Christi Sommerfeldt is an experienced Access Services Librarian currently employed at SUNY Potsdam since November 2022. Previously, Christi served as a Regional Services Librarian for the Northern New York Library Network, where responsibilities included coordinating resource sharing and professional development programs. Other roles include Assistant Director of Prospect Research at St. Lawrence University, Circulation Supervisor at SUNY Canton, Children's Librarian at Muskego Public Library, and various positions at other libraries, demonstrating a diverse background in library services and management. Christi holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
