Martin Abraham has been the Provost & VP for Academic Affairs at SUNY Brockport since 2019. Prior to that, they were a Professor of Chemical Engineering at Western Illinois University from 2007 to 2019, and Graduate Dean at The University of Toledo from 1996 to 2007. Martin was also an Assistant/Associate Professor at the University of Tulsa from 1987 to 1996.

Martin is a strong advocate for research and scholarship, and has worked tirelessly to promote the role of universities in society.
Martin Abraham received their PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware. Martin also has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a certified professional engineer in Oklahoma.
