Clinical Assistant Professor Of Psychiatry at SUNY Downstate Medical Center

Cassandra Raphael, MD, MPH, currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and as a Consulting Expert in Mental Health for The Jed Foundation. Since May 2023, Cassandra has hosted a radio talk show on WBAI titled "Trauma Code." As a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at the New York State Office of Mental Health since September 2022, Cassandra previously held positions, including Administrative Chief Fellow of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellow at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Educational qualifications include an MD from St. George's University, an MPH from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, and dual bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry and Political Science and Government from Sacred Heart University.
