Rohan Sharma

Rohan Sharma is currently serving as an Anesthesiology Resident at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine since July 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Technician at Brigham and Women's Hospital from January 2018 to June 2019 and a Research Trainee position at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in early 2017. Rohan also engaged in undergraduate research at Leibniz Universität Hannover, focusing on in vitro vasculature networks and synthetic polymer scaffolds, and completed a Research Trainee role at Brigham and Women's Hospital in late 2015, synthesizing novel compounds related to renal cell carcinoma. Earlier positions include working as an Emergency Medical Technician at Spring Hill Community Ambulance Corps and as a Medical Observer at St. Barnabas Hospital. Rohan Sharma earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Tel Aviv University between 2019 and 2023, following an academic background at Northeastern University and Clarkstown South Senior High School.
