Pauliina Parhiala has a diverse and extensive work experience in various organizations and roles. Pauliina has held positions such as Executive Director at Suomen Lähetysseura (Felm), Program Director at Norwegian Church Aid / Kirkens Nødhjelp, Lecturer at Humak University of Applied Sciences, Representative at The Lutheran World Federation, Regional Director at Finn Church Aid, Director and Chief Operating Officer at ACT Alliance, and Executive Director at Crisis Management Initiative. Pauliina returned to the University of Helsinki in pursuit of further education. Currently, they are working towards a Doctor's Degree in Theology/Theological Studies, which they commenced in 2021. Additionally, they plan to obtain a Pastor degree from the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland in 2022.
