Jyri Vilko

Jyri Vilko currently serves as the Chairman of the Board, Vice Chairman, and Board Member at Suomen Osto- ja Logistiikkayhdistys LOGY ry since January 2021 and is a Logistics Committee Member at Kymenlaakson kauppakamari since May 2023. At LUT University, Vilko holds multiple positions including Academic Director and Associate Professor of the Innovation and Logistics Master's Program (INLOG), and has been involved in teaching courses on Supply Chains and Logistics as well as Qualitative Research Methods. With research expertise in supply chain risk management and inter-firm relations, Vilko's previous roles include Post-Doctoral Researcher at LUT University, project manager and researcher at Lappeenranta University of Technology, and Visiting Researcher at Thammasat University. Educational background includes a Doctor of Economics and Business Administration from LUT University and a Professional Teacher degree from Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
