Merja Kallikari

Merja Kallikari is an experienced journalist and communications consultant with a career spanning over two decades in various media roles. Currently working as a journalist at Suomen Tietotoimisto STT since September 2022, Kallikari previously served as a communications consultant at Drama Queen Communications from August 2018 to August 2022. Prior to this, Kallikari spent 14 years at Turun Sanomat, covering sports and producing content for the publication's Home and Living pages, including reporting on the 2014 and 2018 Olympic Games. A freelance journalist from May 2001 to February 2004, Kallikari also contributed to the Finnish Orienteering Federation as a consultant and writer, enhancing cooperation in orienteering media among Nordic countries. Kallikari holds a Master's degree in Media Studies from Turun yliopisto and has furthered media education through programs at Helsinki Design School and the University of Oslo.
