Petteri Putkiranta

Petteri Putkiranta is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in media and telecommunications. Currently, Putkiranta serves as a Board Member for Piceasoft and holds multiple leadership positions, including President of News & Feature at Sanoma Media Finland and Chairman of the Board at Suomen Tietotoimisto STT. Putkiranta's long tenure at Helsingin Sanomat includes roles as Senior Vice President and Vice President for Consumer and Digital. Additionally, Putkiranta has been active in various board capacities at the Sanomalehtien Liitto and Kaakon Viestintä Oy since 2015 and 2016, respectively. Prior experience includes a directorial role at Nokia from 1989 to 2008. Putkiranta holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
