Mika Korkalainen

Mika Korkalainen currently serves as Development Manager at Suomen Tulli – Finnish Customs since January 2024. Previously, Mika held various roles at Sandvik, including IT Service Delivery Manager and Site IT Manager, from May 2019 to January 2024. Before that, Mika was a Project Manager at MPY Palvelut Oyj from June 2017 to April 2019. Mika's career also includes positions such as Chief Privacy Officer, Information Security Manager, and IT Manager at Kymenlaakson Sähkö between May 2010 and May 2017, as well as Design Engineer at Pöyry from February 2008 to May 2010. Starting the professional journey as a Telecommunications Specialist at the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health from June 2005 to February 2008, Mika's educational background includes a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering/Telecommunications from LUT University and a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications from Kymenlaakso Polytechnic.
