Tuomo Laine

Tuomo Laine is an experienced professional with a diverse background in IT and security. Currently serving as a System Manager at Suomen tulli – Finnish Customs since April 2023, Tuomo previously held the position of IT Architect at Government ICT Centre Valtori from March 2017 to March 2023. Tuomo's experience includes a role as Military Observer with the United Nations from April 2018 to April 2019 and as a Liaison Officer and Staff Officer with the Finnish Defence Forces from May 2015 to May 2016. Prior to this, Tuomo worked at Tieto from March 2007 to April 2015 in various capacities, including Product Manager, Service Manager, and QA Consultant, focusing on service development and quality assurance in the banking and finance sector. Earlier career experience includes a position as Solution Manager at TeliaSonera Finland Oyj. Tuomo holds a Master of Engineering in Cybersecurity from Xamk - South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences and a Master's degree in Information Systems from the University of Jyväskylä, along with ongoing advanced studies in Security and Strategic Analysis. Additionally, Tuomo is a certified Master Scuba Diver Trainer.
