Anni Mikkonen

Anni Mikkonen is the CEO of the Finnish Wind Power Association, a position held since January 2009, with a focus on advocacy and public relations for the organization. Prior to this role, Anni worked at the Pirkanmaa Adult Education Institute from September 2008 to June 2009 as a teacher and project personnel, teaching sustainable development and organizing education related to renewable energy and environmental issues. Anni's career began as a project coordinator for the Renewable Energy program at the University of Jyväskylä from September 2004 to January 2007. Anni holds two Master's degrees from the University of Jyväskylä: one in Corporate Environmental Management, obtained between 2006 and 2011, and another in Environmental Sciences, completed from 1992 to 1999.
