Casey Goodrow

VFX Lead at Super Evil Megacorp

Casey Goodrow has a diverse work experience in the field of VFX and web design. They started their career at GLITCHPOP! as a freelance web designer from 2004 to 2006. They then worked as a web design contractor at BigFix, Inc. from 2005 to 2008, where they created the console user interface for the BigFix Enterprise Suite and helped with the company's identity.

In 2009, Casey joined 2K Marin as a QA analyst, where they conducted tests on new tools and code. They later became a QA co-lead, where they oversaw internal test teams and wrote test plans.

Casey then worked as a technology support specialist at the Center for Research and Learning, IUPUI from 2011 to 2012.

In 2012, Casey co-founded Ilsanjo and served as the creative director. They were responsible for creative direction, art direction, and VFX and technical art. They also handled environmental and atmospheric elements.

From 2018 to 2019, Casey worked as a VFX artist at Toys For Bob, where they created stylized and performance-optimized VFX for characters, level environments, and cinematics. They collaborated with the design team to determine specific aesthetics and implemented gameplay-related VFX.

In 2019, Casey joined Super Evil Megacorp as a VFX artist, eventually becoming the VFX lead. They led the VFX on a specific project, onboarded and trained outsourced VFX staff, and set the direction for the VFX style.

Casey Goodrow attended Sonoma State University from 2006 to 2008 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
