Emily Murphy

Emily Murphy has a diverse work experience in the field of quality assurance. Emily currently works at Super Evil Megacorp as a Quality Assurance Lead, starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Quality Assurance Manager at ONMO from July 2021 to October 2022, and also served as a Quality Assurance Lead at the same company from October 2021 to July 2022. Emily has also worked at Ubisoft Montréal as a Streaming Compliance Specialist from February 2021 to October 2021.

Before that, Emily worked at PTW, where they held the role of Stadia Compliance Lead from February 2020 to February 2021. Emily was also a Quality Assurance Lead from December 2019 to February 2020 and a Senior Quality Assurance Tester from October 2019 to December 2019. Prior to their time at PTW, they gained experience as an Associate Senior Quality Assurance Tester at Keywords Studios - Montréal from July 2019 to September 2019, and as a Functional Quality Assurance Tester from May 2018 to July 2019. Emily also worked as a Functional Quality Assurance Tester at Keywords Studios - Montréal from May 2017 to August 2017.

Emily Murphy completed their high school education at Beurling Academy, earning a High School Diploma. Emily then pursued higher education at Dawson College, where they obtained a DEC in Social Sciences. In addition to their formal education, Emily Murphy has obtained several certifications in various fields. Emily completed the "Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design" certification from Google in March 2021. In December 2020, they obtained certifications in "Responsive Web Design," "Software Testing Foundations: Test Management," "Test Automation Foundations," and "Project Management Foundations" from institutions like freeCodeCamp and LinkedIn. Emily also acquired a certification in "Data Fluency: Exploring and Describing Data" from LinkedIn in September 2020, and a certification in "Python Programming: A Concise Introduction" from Wesleyan University in May 2020.
