Michael Gulen

Michael Gulen is a seasoned professional in product design and development, currently serving as a Senior Product Design Manager at Super7 since November 2020, where management of a team of over 15 sculptors and the GI Joe license is a primary responsibility. As the owner of Model Maker/Rapid Prototyper since January 2001, Michael specializes in traditional and computer modeling, rapid prototyping for a diverse range of products, and has collaborated with notable companies including Super7 and McFarlaneToys. Additionally, Michael manages Wooden Indian Novelties, a startup focused on retro-inspired novelties, while previously holding the role of Creative Director at Morristown High School Theatre. With extensive experience as Prototype Development Director at McFarlaneToys and foundational skills developed as a model maker at The Franklin Mint, Michael possesses a strong background in overseeing prototyping processes and team management. Michael holds an Associate’s degree in Industrial Design from The Art Institutes.
