Cristian Popescu

Cristian Popescu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Cristian most recently worked as a Cyber Security Analyst at Superbet starting in May 2020. Prior to that, they were a Security Engineer at Safetech Innovations from November 2015 to May 2020. Cristian also worked as a Network Administrator at Raiffeisen Bank Romania from February 2008 to October 2015. Earlier in their career, they held positions as a Data & VoIP Network Administrator and Callcenter Team Leader at UPC Romania from September 2006 to February 2008, and as a Technical Support Engineer at Astral Telecom in August 2004.

Cristian Popescu obtained a high school degree in Information Technology from Colegiul National "Mihai Eminescu" in Constanta, Romania, from 1995 to 1999. Cristian then pursued further education and earned an Engineer's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, Romania, from 1999 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Cristian Popescu has obtained several certifications. Cristian became a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) in June 2011 and a Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) in July 2013. Cristian further expanded their expertise by obtaining certifications such as Junos Networks Certified Associate from Juniper Networks in August 2017 and Citrix Certified Professional - Networking from Citrix in May 2017. Cristian also achieved Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE) certification from Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. in November 2018. More recently, they received the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2020 and the Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert certification from Microsoft in April 2021. Additionally, they acquired the Splunk Core Certified User certification from Splunk in February 2020.
