Florin Matei

Florin Matei has extensive experience in procurement and strategic sourcing. Florin is currently working as the Group Strategic Procurement Manager at Superbet since April 2022. Before that, they were a Procurement Manager at BT Sourced from January 2022 to May 2022. Prior to these roles, Florin worked at Ericsson, where they served as a Global Category Manager from February 2020 to April 2022 and as a Strategic Sourcing Manager from August 2018 to February 2020. Florin also worked as a Strategic Sourcing Manager at Ericsson from July 2016 to July 2017. Florin Matei has a diverse education history. Florin obtained a Master's degree in Management of Rural Development from the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest, where they studied from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Tourism, and Services at Universitatea de Petrol si Gaze Ploiesti from 1999 to 2003. Florin also holds a Bacalaureat degree in Mathematics and Physics, which they earned from Carol I Highschool in Fetesti from 1995 to 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Florin has earned certifications to enhance their professional skills. Florin obtained the "Ethical Procurement and Supply 2023" certification from CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply in August 2023. Furthermore, they received a "Purchasing" certification from LinkedIn in October 2016.
