Larisa Kiss-Popp

Larisa Kiss-Popp has extensive work experience in the field of internal audit. Their most recent position was as the Head of Internal Audit at Superbet since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Sphera Franchise Group as an Internal Audit Manager from December 2019 to November 2020. Larisa also spent a significant amount of time at KPMG Romania, where they held various roles, including Senior Manager, Department of Professional Practice from July 2017 to December 2019, and Senior Manager, Audit (last position held) from February 2008 to June 2017. At KPMG, Larisa was responsible for overseeing auditing projects, evaluating internal controls, assessing risk, and providing clients with recommendations for improving internal controls and procedures. Larisa also had HR involvement, particularly in university recruitment.

Larisa Kiss-Popp has a strong educational background in the fields of juridical and administrative sciences, accounting and management information systems, and mathematics and computer science. Larisa obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Juridical and Administrative Sciences from UCDC in the years 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems from Academia de Studii Economice din București between 2004 and 2008. Larisa completed their high school education at Colegiul National "Dinicu Golescu" from 2000 to 2004, focusing on mathematics and computer science.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Larisa Kiss-Popp has acquired various certifications to further enhance their professional skill set. Larisa holds multiple certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) from ISACA obtained in July 2023, Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors obtained in April 2021, Statutory Licensed Auditor (Romania) from ASPAAS obtained in January 2020, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors obtained in December 2018, Licensed Auditor - Romania from Camera Auditorilor Financiari din România obtained in September 2013, ACCA Member from ACCA obtained in March 2013, Certificate in International Auditing (CertIA) from ACCA obtained in November 2010, and Certificate in International Financial Reporting (CertIFR) from ACCA obtained in November 2010.
