Linh Nguyen

Linh Nguyen has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. They began their career as an Audit Intern at Deloitte in 2012, followed by an Audit Associate position at the same company. In 2013, they worked as an HR officer at Sai Gon Securities Inc. Linh then joined Fiskars as an Accounting Assistant in 2016, before transitioning to a Business Analyst role at Reddal later that year. In 2017, they returned to Fiskars and took on the position of Business Analyst in the Supply Chain function.

In 2019, Linh became a Data Scientist at Fiskars, where they collaborated with data engineers and product owners to develop predictive models and scalable KPI dashboards. Some of their notable projects involved building a product recommendation engine and conducting customer segmentation. They utilized tools such as Spark, Python, Azure Devops, and Tableau.

Following their time at Fiskars, Linh worked as a Data Analyst at Seriously Digital Entertainment in 2020 and then at Smartly.io in 2021. Their responsibilities included analyzing data and generating insights to support business decisions.

In 2021, Linh was promoted to the role of Senior Data Scientist at Ubisoft Barcelona Mobile, where they applied advanced analytics to drive strategic initiatives. They recently joined Supercell in 2022 as a Game Data Analyst.

Linh Nguyen has a diverse education history. Linh obtained a Bachelor's degree in Advanced Program of Finance and Banking from Vietnam National Economics University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Quantitative Finance from Hanken School of Economics, studying from 2014 to 2016. Later, they expanded their knowledge and skills in Big Data Analytics by completing a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from Arcada University of Applied Sciences, studying from 2019 to 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Linh Nguyen has also obtained various certifications. These include certifications from Coursera, such as Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning. Linh has also obtained certifications from Microsoft, such as Principles of Machine Learning: Python Edition, Microsoft Professional Capstone: Data Science, Microsoft Professional Program in Data Science, Ethics and Law in Data and Analytics, Implementing Predictive Analytics with Spark in Azure HDInsight, DAT248x: Analytics Storytelling for Impact, Data Science Research Methods: Python Edition, Querying Data with Transact-SQL, Essential Statistics for Data Analysis using Excel, and Programming with Python for Data Science. Linh Nguyen also holds a verified certificate for Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Excel from edX, a verified certificate for Data Science Orientation from edX, and a course certificate in "Business Metrics for Data Driven Companies" from Duke University.
