Sergiy Dubovik has a diverse and extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Sergiy is currently working as a Client Programmer at Supercell. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Varjo from 2018 to 2022. Before Varjo, they held the role of Principal Software Engineer at Nokia Technologies from 2016 to 2018, where they worked on the Ozo software project using C++, QT, multithreading, pipeline, OpenCL, CUDA, profiling, tracing, and performance&memory optimizations. Sergiy also has experience working at Microsoft as a Senior Software Engineer from 2014 to 2016. Before that, they worked at Nokia as a Principal Software Engineer from 2008 to 2014 and at Futurice as a Senior Software Developer from 2006 to 2008. Sergiy started their career at Accenture as a Software Specialist from 2004 to 2006 and at Leiki Oy as a Development Manager from 2002 to 2004. Sergiy began their professional journey as a Test Engineer at Reach-U Solutions Ltd in 2001.

Sergiy Dubovik obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science degree with a specialization in Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence from Kharkov State University Of Radio Electronics. Sergiy attended the university from 1996 to 2001. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mathematics with a focus on Mobile Computing from the University of Jyväskylä, attending from 2000 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Sergiy Dubovik has also obtained various certifications. Sergiy completed a course on Parallel Programming from Coursera in December 2016. In November 2015, they completed a course titled "Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach" from Coursera Verified Certificates. In January 2013, they completed a course on Heterogeneous Parallel Programming from Coursera. In November 2012, they obtained a certification for completing the course "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" from Coursera. Additionally, in October 2012, they completed the course "Foundations of Computer Graphics" from edX.
