Laura McCarthy

Laura McCarthy has a long and varied work experience. Laura began their career in 2009 as an Assistant Manager at Fringe Benefit. In 2011, they took on the role of Treasurer at the Fashion Merchandising and Design Society at Virginia Tech (VT FMDS). In 2012, they worked as a Divisional Assistant for Women's Intimates and Special Sizes at Belk, as well as a Production Assistant for the Fashion Office at AmericasMart Atlanta. Laura also traveled across Western Europe for six weeks that same year. In 2013, Laura began working at Under Armour as an Associate Product Developer for Men's Training and Team Sports. In 2019, they joined Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. as an Associate Product Manager and later that year, they joined Supergoop! as a Product Development Director for Skincare + Body Care, a Senior Product Development Manager, and a Product Development and Regulatory Manager.

Laura McCarthy graduated from Virginia Tech in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Apparel, Housing, and Resource Mangement--Apparel Product Development and Merchandising. Laura began their studies at Virginia Tech in 2008.
