Colin Mertes

Colin Mertes has extensive experience in operations and supply chain management, currently serving as a 3PL Program Manager at SBS Group of Companies since May 2017. Previously, Colin held the position of Operations Manager at Popco-USA from November 2011 to May 2017, where responsibilities included supporting global sales with inventory and shipping solutions. Colin also worked as a Lead Scheduler at Northstar Balloons from May 2015 to 2017 and as an Inventory Planner at Datacard Group from January 1989 to October 2009, overseeing over $20 million in inventory. Additional roles included Planning/Inventory Control and Customer Service Stockroom Lead positions, both emphasizing supply chain optimization and customer service excellence. Colin began a freelance career as a stagehand in September 1989, providing support for local AV productions. Education was pursued at Hennepin Technical College, which Colin attended from 1989 to the present.
