Pete Bowyer is an experienced aquaculture professional currently serving as the Farm Manager for Superior Fresh, LLC since July 2024. Prior to this role, Pete Bowyer held multiple positions at AquaBounty from September 2017 to July 2024, including Aquaculture Technical Services, Farm Manager, and Technical Manager and Quality Control. Pete Bowyer also worked as a Fish Health Manager at Bell Fish Company from October 2016 to June 2017 and gained hands-on experience as a Fish Farm Technician at Exmoor Fisheries from March 2015 to May 2016. An academic background includes a PhD focused on Aquaculture Nutrition from Plymouth University, where research was centered on nutrient digestibility, trace element bioavailability, and gastrointestinal health in finfish diets. Education credentials include a Master's degree in Sustainable Aquaculture Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology and Coastal Ecology from the same institution.
